Russ Rosenzweig

Co-founder & CEO

Through his role as CEO, Russ plays a key role in connecting experts with 86 Pillars corporate and legal clients around the globe.

Russ W. Rosenzweig is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, business advisor, and instructor in the area of Entrepreneurship. He is currently the co-founder of 86 Pillars LLC, a customized executive education start-up, as well as a founder of ArtBarcs, a next generation network of working artists and virtual gallery. Russ was also the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Round Table Group, since acquired by Thompson Reuters. Prior to joining Round Table Group, Mr. Rosenzweig served as a senior consultant for the management consulting practice of PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Chicago.

Russ holds a BA in economics and mathematical methods in the social sciences from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Certificate in Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago and a Certificate des Etudes from the University of Paris (Sorbonne). In addition to his work in expert witness search & referral, Mr. Rosenzweig teaches students and executives on topics related to entrepreneurship, management strategy, leadership, and self-discovery. He is a professor (adjunct) of management strategy at the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Manu Kalia

Co-founder & President

Manu brings 18 years of experience as a CFO, COO, and CEO of various venture-funded start-ups and manages all finance and investment matters for 86 Pillars. He started his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, specializing in optical networking, before moving to Wall Street to serve as a research analyst and private equity principal. He then moved to Silicon Valley to focus on venture-funded start-up operations and financing. Mr. Kalia holds a BA in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Beth Marchessault

Vice President of Operations

Beth Marchessault brings an impressive array of operations and entrepreneurship expertise to the team. She was a senior manager for many years at the Entrepreneurs' Organization, the world's leading consortium of entrepreneurial company founders with at least $1m in sales. Specifically, she directed training and education operations at EO. Beth works with clients and academic talent in the creation, marketing, and delivery of educational content for 86 Pillars. Ms. Marchessault holds a BA from the College of William and Mary.

Andrew Saltzman


Andrew plays a key role in the many marketing activities of 86 Pillars and our clients. He is also actively involved in the comprehensive research and assessment of experts and instructors. With a background founded in the arts, Andrew brings the methodology & mindset of a creative to the work he is involved with. He holds a B.M. in Music Composition & Technology from the University of Montana.
